Night is FallenIn the fallen light that's when I will come home  Though the darkness swells I drive on to my home  Though my past creeps up and pulls me back again  I'll drive along the worn path till I reach the end.   
The night is dark but my lights shine on through the dim  And though the road is far and my chances look slim  I keep my head held high and pray I'll see the dawn  My love is waiting for me there, but not for long.

New pathA new path is now open.

What lies beyond the door, I don't know.  And that's what scares me;  the unknown is as definite as the known,  
which is the fact that I will be soon moving down that path.   
Expectations and growing demands;  
they pile up inside my head like a stack of precarious books  destined to fall.  Maybe one of them will open up and point me in the right direction;  
give me the knowledge I'll need to survive.   
And what of my other?  Will he be there for me?  Will he ask the question or will we be flung into a place together &nbs New path

Well, I finally have a new computer after my old one decided that its warranty had run out. I've been doing some new artwork; I just haven't scanned it yet.
So, warning: possible influx of art to come soon.

I've hit a rickety bridge in my life; there's the opportunity to fly the coop, but I don't know what awaits me on the other side. Possibly moving away, possibly marriage, possibly a new job that will actually pay for the things I want to do in life, and possibly, further down the road, a family. There are too many possibly's.

Hopefully I'll soon figure out what I can do and the pressure will lay off for a while. Hopefully I'll stay away from my grandfather long enough so that his request for great-grandchildren will ebb and haunt me no longer. And maybe I'll get more inspiration for art out of all this.

So, for those of you still reading and who are still interested, there IS more art to come. Just bear with me and let's see if I can get one steady foot on this rickety bridge.
